FabCon Europe 2024: Data, AI, and a Strong Community.

The conference showed that Microsoft Fabric is already an integral part of many companies.

FabCon Europe 2025 in Vienna was the go-to event for everyone who works with Microsoft Fabric or is just getting started. Sanche and Dimoth were there on behalf of Epic Fusion, they attended sessions, spoke with the product team, and met many familiar faces from the data community.

Fabric has become part of everyday Business.

One thing became clear: Fabric has long been part of the daily work of many organizations. Conversations focused less on «What is Fabric?» and more on «How do we implement it correctly?» Whether the topic was Data Engineering, Governance, or AI integration, it was evident how firmly the platform is now established in projects and how knowledge continues to evolve through collaboration.

Between Technology and Practice.

Particularly exciting were the moments when ideas became solutions. Teams showed how they use Microsoft Fabric to simplify data flows, create transparency, and make AI models production-ready. The discussions focused on experience – what works, where challenges remain, and how the platform can be implemented in their own environments.


Our take.

For us, FabCon 2025 was less of a conference and more of an exchange among people who do not just want to store data, but also understand and use it. We came back with lots of new ideas about architecture, collaboration, and how we can use Fabric even more effectively in future projects. Because that is exactly what it is all about: solutions that make a difference in everyday life and truly simplify work.

Next steps.

Our time in Vienna sparked many new thoughts and perspectives. Through engaging conversations, presentations, and encounters, ideas emerged that will stay with us for a long time to come. We are incorporating these insights directly into our projects. They are shaping our collaboration, our approach, and our day-to-day work with data.

This is how inspiration turns into something new and concrete: better solutions, fresh approaches, and even more joy in what we do.
