Epic Fusion with Nicole Friedrich.

Nicole Friedrich is joining Epic Fusion as a Cloud Engineer. With her background in systems engineering and business informatics, as well as her experience in data security projects using Microsoft Purview, she brings in-depth expertise in the cloud and security fields. Her goal is to use technologies in a way that creates real added value for customers while remaining easy to use.

In this interview, she discusses modern work environments, team collaboration, and why successful IT solutions depend not only on technology but, above all, on people. She explains how secure and flexible workplace solutions are developed and why customer focus and teamwork are crucial to her.

Nicole, what is your role at Epic Fusion?

I work as a Cloud Engineer. My focus is on implementing and further developing modern cloud and security solutions for our customers. The goal is to use technologies in a way that ensures they are secure, efficient, and easy to use.

What do you hope to achieve at Epic Fusion?

I want to find tailor-made solutions for our customers and thereby create real added value. My goal is to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and to use modern technologies in a way that makes day-to-day work easier.

From Systems Engineering to Cloud Engineering.

Nicole completed an apprenticeship as an IT specialist in systems engineering before expanding her expertise with a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Technology from Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH) and a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Leadership. Most recently, she worked as a Cloud Engineer on Microsoft Purview data security projects, gaining valuable experience in cloud and security.

What Nicole enjoys most about her work is the opportunity to keep learning and evolving. New technologies, new challenges, and the chance to develop the right solutions together with customers make her work both exciting and rewarding.

What is the most important lesson you have learned throughout your career?

You only move forward by working as a team or in close collaboration with customers. No one succeeds alone.

How do you envision the workplace of the future?

The workplace of the future will be flexible and accessible from anywhere. At the same time, it must provide a high level of security while keeping everyday work as seamless as possible for users.

What defines your way of working?

I work independently, reliably, and always meet my deadlines. One of my greatest strengths is bringing the right people together to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
