Epic Fusion with Xiomi Paulino, Mindful Digital Super-Native

Yeah, yeah, we know: You can’t be super-native any more than you can be super-pregnant or super-triangular. When we call Xiomi Paulino, our new Modern Workplace Engineer, a Digital Super-Native, we’re doing it to make a point. And that point is this: Xiomi engages with digitalization about as much as a fish engages with water. He simply lives in it—and as a result, he’s in pole position when it comes to creating the digital workplaces of tomorrow.

Xiomi began his professional training—how else?—with an apprenticeship as a Computer Scientist in Systems Engineering (EFZ). He then earned his stripes as a systems engineer, gaining valuable experience in areas such as first- and second-level support. But he was soon drawn to Epic Fusion—albeit via a stopover as a Modern Workplace Engineer at another company. There, he became an expert in M365, Azure, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, and—above all—the interaction between the digital workplace and the human user, which should be at the heart of top-notch workplace transformations.

Xiomi’s effervescent energy and enthusiasm for experimentation are hard to describe—you really have to experience them for yourself. But what impressed us just as much about him is his mindfulness: his balanced, thoughtful demeanor and his ability to see the big picture—both economically and socially. For example, he told us that, especially in these turbulent times, he considers comfort and predictability for workplace users to be essential—and that’s why he prefers to develop solutions that enable employees to achieve their goals not only more efficiently but also more securely.
