Jannik Reinhard joins Epic Fusion as Head of AI and Lead of Epic Fusion Germany GmbH. He brings over a decade of enterprise experience ranging from building scalable AIOps platforms to designing a company-wide AI framework for more than 120,000 employees. His experience combines technological depth with pragmatic implementation and a clear focus on business impact.
In this interview, he discusses the responsibility of AI in companies, why architecture is more important than individual tools, and why technology always starts with people. He explains how AI can be integrated securely and scalably into existing structures, the role that governance and security play in this process, and why sustainable implementation is more important than quick experiments.
Jannik, what is your role at Epic Fusion?
As Head of AI, I am responsible for the strategic and technical development of our AI initiatives. The goal is to think of AI not in isolation, but as an integrated part of existing structures secure, scalable, and sustainable. My focus is on aligning architecture with business objectives.
How do you envision the workplace of the future?
AI-powered, personalized, and secure. Employees will be supported by intelligent agents that take over routine tasks and free them up for value-adding activities. At the same time, one thing remains clear: technology is an enabler, but people remain crucial.
