It is one thing to learn that your company has received an important award. It is quite another to actually be presented with the award and hold it in your hands. We have to admit, we were moved.
On July 18, the official ceremony for the Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards took place at Microsoft Switzerland’s headquarters at The Circle at Zurich Airport. In the globally (!) evaluated category «Modern Workplace for Frontline Workers,» we were honored to accept the award, presented by Catrin Hinkel, CEO of Microsoft Switzerland.
Microsoft was impressed by our project with BAND, a diverse organization active in sectors such as industry, services, and commerce. For more than 75 years, BAND has been committed to integrating people with disabilities into the workforce. It was a fitting occasion. Andrew Reid, Lead of the Global Partner Solutions Team at Microsoft Switzerland, and Catrin Hinkel, CEO of Microsoft Switzerland, delivered insightful opening remarks. Natasa Vuruna, Senior Enterprise Partner Lead at Microsoft Switzerland, moderated a multifaceted panel discussion on AI and Copilot. Of course, this was followed by extensive technical discussions, active networking, and, finally, a lively celebration.
Looking ahead, however, we also view this award as a commitment. We must and want to be able to offer every customer award-worthy solutions at all times. The trophy will serve as a daily reminder of this, as it will take pride of place here at zentroom. In addition to Microsoft’s recognition, the glass trophy resting on a wooden base also represents two values that are, and will remain essential to us: transparency and a solid foundation.
