We had fun taking the new team photo, and it taught us a lot – in two ways. For once, we dared to experiment by showing our true colors and, in a very literal sense, stepping into the spotlight. It is no coincidence that this evokes our Epic Fusion logo and its message, since at Epic Fusion, people are at the center with all their colors and facets. Whether they are users or digital workers, they are always, and above all co-workers. Because only through cooperation can an Epic Fusion take place. Even though the background was meant to take a back seat, we could not completely ignore it. This was all the more true since the location itself practically forced us to «AI-fy» it. We found this so fitting that we not only made this artificial image editing visible but also deliberately emphasized it. Not only is AI the hottest topic right now, but in a way, it is also part of our team. And so, we believe, it belongs in the photo as well.
Artificial Intelligence is here to stay. For us at Epic Fusion, in particular, the question has long since shifted from if to how: How can AI be deployed and utilized to create meaningful added value? Our answer is as clear as the black-and-white background in the team photo: It is not some magic spell capable of transforming every task into awesome results. Rather, it is an enabler that supports us with tedious, cumbersome, and laborious tasks, simplifies our daily lives, and helps us be more creative, productive, and efficient. With the AI-powered tool Copilot, for example, Microsoft has created an assistant that can reduce the heavy workload on employees in service and production and give them more time for the tasks that really matter – namely, those where human capabilities remain far superior to artificial intelligence.
We humans are, and will always be at the forefront. Thanks to the intelligent digital support working behind the scenes, this is now more evident than ever. Never before have human collaboration, lively interaction, genuine exchange, shared experiences, and above all creative work been as important, as vibrant, and as rich in nuance as they are today. Is not that just great fun!
